🟢 Day 1: Ha Giang – Yen Minh – Heaven Gate – Tam Son – Tham Ma Pass – H’mong King’s Palace – Dong Van

Morning Pickup:
Our Ha Giang Open-Air Jeep Team will pick you up from your hotel, hostel, or designated meeting point in Ha Giang City to begin your mountain adventure.

Scenic Drive to Tam Son:
Just outside the city, the landscape transforms as we ascend Bac Sum Pass, heading toward Heaven Gate for panoramic views of the iconic Twin Mountains and Tam Son Town.

Lunch in Yen Minh:
We’ll stop in Yen Minh for a delicious local lunch, then continue through Chin Khoanh Pass and the breathtaking Dong Van Karst Plateau, a UNESCO Global Geopark. Along the way, marvel at rice terraces, towering limestone peaks, and the rhythms of hill-tribe life.

H’mong King’s Palace:
Near Sa Phin, we’ll visit the historic H’mong King’s Palace, once home to the powerful Vương family. Arrive in Dong Van Town by late afternoon for dinner and free time to explore the town.

🟢 Day 2: Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Nho Que River – Meo Vac – Mau Due – Du Gia

Ma Pi Leng Pass:
After breakfast, we conquer the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, known as the “king” of Vietnam’s mountain passes. With its dizzying cliffs and dramatic views, this stretch is the highlight of the loop.

Sky Path & Nho Que River:
Descend the Sky Path for awe-inspiring views of the Nho Que River below and a full 360° panorama of the Ma Pi Leng Canyon — perfect for photos and quiet reflection.

Village Life & Local Culture:
We continue through remote highland villages like Lung Ho, Mau Due, and Meo Vac, stopping for lunch and refreshments along the way.

Du Gia Homestay Experience:
By late afternoon, we reach Du Gia Village, home to seven ethnic minorities. You’ll stay overnight in a local Tay family homestay, enjoy a hearty home-cooked dinner, and sample their beloved “happy water.”

🟢 Day 3: Du Gia – Terrace Valley – Bac Me Road – Ha Giang – Return to Hanoi

Morning Departure:
After breakfast and warm goodbyes, we head toward Ha Giang, passing scenic rice terraces and rural life in Duong Thuong Village and Nam Cang.

Terraced Valley Views:
Take in the peaceful beauty of the Terrace Paddies Valley, a photogenic stretch showcasing Vietnam’s iconic rice farming traditions.

Return to Ha Giang City:
Rejoin the Bac Me National Road and arrive back in Ha Giang City by afternoon. From here, choose between a night bus or an afternoon limousine transfer back to Hanoi.
