ITINERARY
Our team has carefully crafted this half-day tour for travelers who yearn to discover the beauty of this mesmerizing destination, along with the hospitable hill tribe people, without following the conventional tourist trails and exploring crowded villages teeming with tourists.
To kick-start the tour, our team will pick you up from your hotel and head North of Sapa. During the ride, we will make several stops for you to feast your eyes on the stunning landscapes and vast flower and vegetable farms that will undoubtedly leave you awestruck. Next, we will turn into a narrow road that winds through the lush rainforest, passing several cascading waterfalls along the way, before arriving at Ban Khoang.
Ban Khoang is a charming village where Red Dao people cultivate wet rice on terraced fields and grow cardamom. You will have the opportunity to witness their daily life and learn about their unique customs, which will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on you. After experiencing the tranquility of Ban Khoang, we will make our way to Ta Giang Phin valley, which is home to several small Hmong villages dotted along a serene stream.
Here, we will take a short break on the bank of the stream and enjoy a refreshing cold drink before walking to the village to witness daily activities such as harrowing, growing, and harvesting. You will also have the chance to interact with the friendly local people and immerse yourself in their culture. After soaking up the serene ambiance of Ta Giang Phin valley, we will ride to O Quy Ho pass, which stands at a staggering height of 2000m above sea level, making it the highest mountain pass in Indochina.
Once we reach the pass, you will have the chance to capture some Kodak moments of this awe-inspiring mountain landscape, which is sure to leave you spellbound. Finally, we will end the tour in Sapa after relishing a delicious lunch in a local restaurant.
