Mai Chau is located in Hoa Binh province, approximately 135 km from Hanoi. From the top of Cun Mountain, one can admire the superb panorama of Mai Chau surrounded by a green valley and stilt houses. Many minorities, including the Thai ethnic group, live in Mai Chau.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau 50km (L,D)
We’ll begin the trip with a transfer out of Hanoi to Luong Son. Along the way you’ll get to gaze upon picturesque landscapes and countryside villages. We’ll stop to visit the Thay pagoda and begin cycling to Mai Chau village, where we’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. You’ll have some time to explore the town before settling for the night at a local home stay.

Day 2: Mai Chau 50km (B,L)
After breakfast, we’ll ride to visit the foggy scenery of the beautiful west region of Vietnam. We’ll also do some light trekking along the trails. Vietnam Bike Tours’ll pause at the side of the road to have a simple picnic lunch in the grass and begin our journey back to the home stay to pack our belongings and head back to Hanoi.
